Antique 1900's "The Kelly Automatic Morris Reclining Chair". Quarter-Sawn Oak frame with wide flat arm rest and paw feet. Upholstered in dark brown leather with a tufted backrest. This chair uses a "push back" or "gravity balanced" mechanism, meaning it reclines based on user pressure. There are no manual levers, rods, or pegs to adjust the position. Chair is sturdy and construction is solid. Leather is in excellent condition and not sure if its original or has been reupholstered. Has original manufacturer tag. Overall dims 29 1/2"W x 30 1/2"D x 42"H. Arm height 23". Seat Height 16".
