Vintage 1950 Lane Furniture Queen Anne-Style Lowboy Cedar Chest. Features a hinged top that opens to a deep, cedar main compartment for moth-proof linen storage, plus one cedar pull-out drawer at the bottom. Highlights include elegant cabriole legs, a scalloped apron with a central carved shell motif and finished in a warm honey tone. All original literature included. Bottom stamped style 002366 Serial number 050350 indicates Manufacture date May 3, 1950. (34"W x 17 7/8"D x 35 1/4"H). Excellent condition. NOTE : The original Lane locking mechanism was removed per The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall. The top latch was removed and the hole for push button lock was plugged with a dowel. A decorative rosset was installed over lock opening for a finished look.
